Hyundai cuts i20 starting price to Rs 5.99 lakh
Even the base Era trim now gets 6 airbags, a digital instrument cluster, and a USB Type-C charger

Hyundai has introduced a new entry-level Era variant of the i20, making the premium hatchback more accessible. The new base trim is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Alongside this update, Hyundai has also reduced prices of the Magna and Magna Executive variants to Rs 6.74 lakh and Rs 6.99 lakh, respectively. Despite being the entry trim, the Era variant comes well-equipped with 6 airbags, a digital instrument cluster, and a USB Type-C charger. It also gets front and rear skid plates, body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, and telescopic steering — features rarely seen at this price point. The Magna Executive variant adds features such as automatic headlamps, TPMS, keyless entry, electrically adjustable ORVMs, a multi-function steering wheel, a shark-fin antenna, and skid plates. The Magna trim further ups the equipment list with an electric sunroof, LED DRLs, rear AC vents, and a front centre armrest with storage. Customers can optionally equip their i20 with a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a rear camera, available as a dealer-installed package for Rs 14,999. 2026 Hyundai i20 ex-showroom prices: Era – Rs 5,99,000 Magna – Rs 6,73,900 Magna Executive – Rs 6,99,900
