Kia Seltos Achieves 5-Star Bharat NCAP Safety Rating

The all-new Kia Seltos has achieved a 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP, marking a significant milestone for the popular mid-size SUV in India. The Seltos scored 31.70 out of 32 points for adult occupant protection and 45 out of 49 points for child occupant protection, placing it among the safest SUVs in its segment. In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the SUV delivered good protection for the head, neck, chest, and lower body of both the driver and front passenger, indicating a strong structural safety performance. The Seltos also performed well in the side movable deformable barrier and side pole impact tests, offering good protection to occupants in both scenarios. Child safety ratings were equally impressive. The SUV achieved a perfect 24 out of 24 in dynamic tests and 12 out of 12 in CRS (Child Restraint System) installation, with a vehicle assessment score of 9 out of 13. The tested model was equipped with a comprehensive safety package that includes front airbags, side chest airbags, curtain airbags, seatbelt pretensioners with load limiters, seatbelt reminders, ESC, and ISOFIX mounts. With these results, the Kia Seltos strengthens its position as a safe, feature-rich SUV, making it an even more compelling choice in the highly competitive mid-size SUV segment.
