MG Majestor SUV unveiled in India: pre-bookings now open

JSW MG Motor India has revealed the India-spec MG Majestor SUV, with pre-bookings now open for Rs 41,000. The SUV will be offered in Sharp 4x4, Savvy 4x2 and Savvy 4x4 variants, with official prices set to be announced in April 2026. The Majestor adopts a rugged design highlighted by a large octagonal grille, vertical LED DRLs and a split headlamp setup with stacked lights and T-shaped LEDs. At the rear, it gets connected LED taillights, dual exhaust tips and a roof spoiler. Buyers will be able to choose from Metal Black, Pearl White, Metal Ash and Concrete Grey colour options. Inside, the SUV features a Smoked Ebony cabin in both 6- and 7-seat layouts. Equipment includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated and massaging front seats, a powered driver’s seat, gesture-controlled tailgate and dual wireless chargers. Safety and tech highlights include Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags and 10 off-road modes. Power comes from a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 213 BHP and 478 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and available 4x4 system. In India, the Majestor will rival the Toyota Fortuner and Skoda Kodiaq in the premium SUV segment.
