New-gen Renault Duster display units reach dealerships ahead of launch
Renault has begun sending new-generation Duster display units to select dealerships as pre-bookings remain open ahead of next month’s launch.

Renault Duster is set to return in an all-new avatar next month, and display units of the SUV have started arriving at select dealerships across India. With pre-bookings already underway, Renault is building momentum ahead of the official price announcement. The company has reportedly dispatched a limited number of display vehicles that will rotate between dealerships. Each showroom is expected to showcase the new Duster for two to three days before the vehicle moves to another location, allowing wider customer access before launch. Renault is placing significant emphasis on the Duster revival, given its past success in the Indian market. The new-generation model is built on the Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP) and features a more muscular design along with a substantial upgrade in features and cabin comfort. In India, the SUV will be offered with multiple powertrain options. The entry-level variants are powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 99 BHP, while mid-spec trims get a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 161 BHP. For the first time, the Duster will also be available with a strong-hybrid setup, featuring a 1.8-litre petrol engine paired with dual electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery, broadening its appeal in the evolving SUV segment.
