New-gen Renault Duster to launch in India on March 17
Renault will announce prices for the next-generation Duster on March 17, with turbo-petrol and strong-hybrid options on offer.
The all-new Renault Duster is set to make its India comeback with prices scheduled to be announced on March 17. Pre-bookings for the SUV are already underway, building anticipation ahead of its official launch.
Built on the Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP), the next-gen Duster adopts a bolder and more muscular design. It features LED headlamps with LED DRLs, V-shaped LED taillights connected by a light bar, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, a roof spoiler and a shark-fin antenna.
The interior receives a significant upgrade with a dual-screen layout comprising a large digital instrument cluster and a central touchscreen. The SUV also offers a 3-spoke steering wheel, 6-way powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake and Level 2 ADAS with features such as Automatic Emergency Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control.
In India, the Duster will be offered with multiple powertrains. Entry-level variants get a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 99 BHP, while higher trims feature a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 161 BHP.
For the first time, the Duster also introduces a strong-hybrid powertrain, pairing a 1.8-litre petrol engine with dual electric motors and a 1.4 kWh battery, marking a major step forward in Renault’s electrification strategy for India.
