Piaggio launches Vespa Officina 8 special edition in India

Piaggio has launched a new special edition Vespa in India called the Officina 8, a tribute to the experimental workshop inside the historic Pontedera factory in Italy. The edition celebrates Vespa’s engineering heritage and design legacy. The Officina 8 is available in both 125cc and 150cc variants, with prices starting at Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The scooter features Vespa’s signature steel body finished in an exclusive Matte Metallic Blue Officina 8 shade, inspired by vintage workshop tools, machinery and workwear. Metallic rivets and subtle brass and aluminium accents add to the handcrafted aesthetic. Piaggio has also introduced a matching range of Officina 8 accessories and merchandise. Buyers can opt for a colour-coordinated helmet, matte-finished top box and branded apparel including windbreakers, hoodies, T-shirts, backpacks and keychains featuring the Officina insignia. Each customer will receive a complimentary tin welcome kit that includes a special owner’s book tracing the roots of Vespa’s early workshop and the vision that shaped the brand over the past eight decades.
