Skoda Kodiaq RS India Launch Confirmed; Only 50 Units Allocated
Skoda is set to bring the performance-focused Kodiaq RS to India as a limited-run CBU model, with bookings opening on June 22.

Skoda Auto India has confirmed that pre-bookings for the highly anticipated Kodiaq RS will commence on June 22, 2026. The performance-oriented SUV will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), with only 50 units allocated for the Indian market, making it one of the most exclusive Skoda SUVs to arrive in the country. Based on the latest-generation Kodiaq, the RS variant brings a more aggressive design and enhanced performance credentials. Visually, it stands apart from the standard model with a gloss-black grille, redesigned sporty bumpers, black-finished ORVMs, black roof rails and distinctive 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the Kodiaq RS adopts a sportier theme with an all-black interior accented by red highlights. The SUV comes equipped with a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster and a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel that reinforces its performance-focused character. Under the hood is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 261 BHP and 400 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. This is the same powertrain used in the Octavia RS sold internationally. According to Skoda, the Kodiaq RS can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 231 km/h. The SUV also benefits from upgraded braking hardware and adaptive suspension technology designed to deliver sharper handling without compromising comfort. With just 50 units earmarked for India, the Kodiaq RS is expected to attract enthusiasts looking for a practical family SUV with genuine performance credentials.
